Environmental Aspects
After researching into cloth nappies, I found that not only was cost difference massive, but the environmental impact was huge.
For Example :-
* Each nappy takes an average of 500 years to decompose.
* 3 billion disposables are thrown to landfill each year.
* Disposables account for up to 4% of landfill.
Taking all that into account, it makes for a very scary thought!
After hearing my friends raving about Reusable nappies I started to ask them questions & research for my own knowledge.
After much research I decided I was going to buy a few to try out for myself and to see if we could adjust to them.
Excited I purchased some crazy designs along with the reusable liners & disposable liners. Which would work best for us?
After the nappies arrived we set to trying them, My daughter loved them as they was bright & colourful and she could choose which one she wanted to wear at that time.
We couldn't get over how much softer & how comfortable they was on our daughter. Amazing!!
I have recommended these to friends & will recommend them again if asked about them. We have many of designs & there's loads of different companies that make them also there's people on Facebook and twitter that are reasonable prices.
Why hadn't I tried them before now? I would of loved all my children to have used these instead of the money we've spent on the disposable one.
Easy to clean you just pop them in the wash and onto the radiator to dry, you need to get a good few so your not just washing on and wearing one.
Don't get me wrong I only bought 4 to start with and after we tried and like them I ordered more.
A brilliant design all round. Who wouldn't want to be able to choose a design on a nappy that their child will like along with saving you money asking as you don't get addicted to buy them as new designs are added weekly/monthly you see it you want it or should I say you NEED it :)
